Lebanon, NH — Nancy L. Jennings, age 96, died on October 28th, 2022, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH. Nancy was born on December 12th, 1925, in Portland, Maine. She grew up in Rockland, ME and always loved her home state. After graduating from high school in Belfast, she worked for New England Telephone Co, eventually moving to Lebanon where she managed the NE Telephone office in White River Jct., VT. She was later promoted to policy administration for NE Tel in Boston and retired in 1983. She graduated in 1992 from Granite State College.

Nancy was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Jennings; her 2nd husband, John Cantlin; her special friend, Paul MacDonald; her 2 sisters, Virginia Gibson and Dorothy MacDonald; brother, Richard Parker, all of Lebanon, NH; her daughter, Patricia Jennings of Newbury, VT; and a grandson, Christopher of Wyoming.

Nancy was fiercely independent and a lover of books and music. She lived in Lebanon for 75 years in the same little bungalow where she shoveled snow and gardened until 2022.

Nancy is survived by her children, David Jennings (Linda) of Johnstown, Colorado, Bruce Jennings (Linda) of Thomaston, Maine, and Pamela Thomas (Gordy) of White River Jct., VT, ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
