Canaan, NH — Vera S. Nowell, age 85, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022, at her home in Canaan, NH. Vera was born in Claremont, NH on June 14, 1937, to Mary (Rul) and Alexander Sakovich. She graduated from Stevens High School with the Class of 1955. Vera married John A. Nowell on June 15, 1963.
In addition to her husband, John, who preceded her in death in 2011, Vera was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters.
Vera is survived by her son, James Nowell, of Canaan, NH; daughter, Carol Nowell, of Canaan, NH; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and their families.
