‘Supernatural’ creator Eric Kripke honors TV actor Nicki Aycox after her dying at 47
Nicki Aycox, a TV actor recognized for her roles on “Supernatural,” “Chilly Case” and “Darkish Blue,” has died. She was 47.
Aycox’s sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, confirmed final week through Fb that the performer died on Nov. 16. No reason for dying was given, however Aycox revealed in March 2021 that she had been recognized with leukemia.
“My stunning, sensible, fierce, extremely gifted, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, handed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her aspect,” Ceklosky wrote on Fb.
“Nicki and Matt had an exquisite life collectively in California. She was undoubtedly a fighter and everybody who knew her cherished her.”
Aycox originated the position of demon Meg Masters on the hit CW sequence “Supernatural,” which ran from 2005 to 2020. On Sunday, “Supernatural” creator Eric Kripke paid tribute to Aycox through Twitter.
“Gutted to listen to the nice #NickiAycox, our first #MegMasters, handed away. Too younger,” Kripke wrote. “She was a delight & delivered traces like honey & venom. I marvel at how she made a easy phrase like ‘lackluster’ legendary.”
Final spring, Aycox posted a hospital selfie on Instagram with the caption, “I grew to become very unwell considering I had covid in Jan and Feb. effectively issues got here to a head. I ended up in a hospital recognized with Lukemeia.”
“I would like everybody to know I’m doing extremely effectively and preventing my approach through chemo,” she continued. “I’ll replace with a greater pic of myself, and speak about staying optimistic through the worst of instances. … deal with your self all! I’ll be again higher, stronger, and wiser!”
